Idols of Ash is an exciting survival game where you race against time and physics to escape the relentless pursuit of the centipede Murderpede.
The primary threat in this nightmare is The Murderpede, a relentless giant centipede entity. This creature possesses sharp listening abilities, reacting to every sound you make. Because the environment is shrouded in darkness, the creature's presence is felt through immersive 3D audio—its haunting chittering tells you exactly how close it is. Every time you fire your grappling hook, the noise attracts the predator, turning your only means of escape into a beacon for your hunter.
To survive, you must master Physics-Based Grappling. This movement entity allows you to swing, slingshot, and maintain Momentum across massive chasms. A critical technical entity is the 45-degree rule: releasing your hook at the peak of your swing to achieve maximum propulsion.
As you descend through the Ancient Structure, you may discover the Aqueduct, a secret map entity that offers a faster but much more dangerous route. Whether you are playing on Normal or the heart-pounding Nightmare tier, staying mobile is the only way to avoid becoming prey.
